Coach Bio:

Passionate educator, who thrives on teaching younger generations emotional intelligence through entrepreneurship, in fun and engaging ways.

Audrey Shapiro has been in the fields of Education and Personal Development for the past 34 years. She holds a B.A. in Elementary Education and M.A. in International Education and has been a classroom teacher in 8 different countries, from Bolivia to Tanzania, and in the U.S. where she taught in California and Oregon. The majority of her classroom time was spent working with multicultural, multilingual kindergarten and first grade students and their parents at International Schools, using various curriculums including the IBO Primary Years Program.

After leaving the classroom, she spent over 3 years under the guidance of world renowned personal development leader, Mary Morrissey, and has continued her own education in personal development, attending multiple seminars and workshops, both online and in-person, and reading multiple books by masters and sages of personal growth and achievement from the past and present.

Audrey became a Transformational Life Coach, certified through Brave Thinking Institute in 2017, and started her own coaching practice. She began working with women at a crossroad in life, just as she was when she left the classroom.  Her interest in Emotional Intelligence developed during the journey of her own personal growth, and she incorporates these principles into her own life and coaching practices.

Knowing the importance of teaching children life skills and beneficial practices at an early age, she decided to begin working with parents, using her past experience as a teacher, combined with her coaching skills, to help them to empower their children in building a solid foundation of emotional intelligence and personal development practices.

Audrey’s belief in the adage, ‘It takes a village to raise a child,’ is seen her her compassionate coaching and understanding that parents have a huge job in raising children, especially in today’s fast-paced, ever-changing world. Though the work is aimed at children, parents also benefit greatly from learning and applying the concepts, improving their lives alongside the lives of the their children.

She’s excited to include this new path of education and coaching, teaching younger generations emotional intelligence through entrepreneurship.

Raised in Oregon, Audrey is an avid learner of life and all it has to offer. She loves animals and being out in nature, whether it be the mountains, seas, or desert. During her free time she enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, scuba diving, and spending time with family and friends.
